Carrigtwohill Community Council Strollers Plus+ Programme
We would like to take the opportunity tell all our customers in the Carrigtwohill community of a fantastic programme called the Strollers Plus + Programme, which is aimed at low level walkers with a view to preparing them to participate in the Carrigtwohill 5km Road race, which is being held on the 16 th July 2014.
The programme will take place every Tuesday 7.30pm – 8.30pm from 10th June to 15th July. The meeting point will be outside the front door of the Carrigtwohill Community Centre. There is a €10 participation fee for the programme.
This is a very worthy programme to be involved in as the participation fee will be put towards the purchase of a Community AED. The purchase of the AED is extremely important and will help to promote and secure the health and well-being of our community.
Everyone here in Carrigtwohill Pharmacy is delighted to promote the Strollers Plus+ Programme, as we are committed to helping the community live healthier and happier lives. Walking and running has many physical and mental health benefits and we would encourage as many of our customers as possible to get involved and get active.
